Stop Motion Video

It has been so much fun to play with Stop Motion videos.

Xanthe Berkley was my X post last year. She put a free Stop Motion tutorial
up for all of us to play with. I loaded the Stop Motion app & have been playing ever since.
There is still a lot more that can be done with it but I'm taking it in baby steps.

I'd like to do more with paper animation.
This was an experiment.

A parade of my newest bags.

I've put a few in my Instagram which is where it was created for.
Did you see the Grolsch Bottles in the G post?

It definitely sucks you in & takes some time. That's a good thing.

  4. Stop motion is amazing. My son started doing it in home school with clay, and has moved up to... well, clay is still a good medium!

  5. How fun! I've been doing some crude "motion" things in a collaborative project with a videographer. As you say, it sucks one in.
I like your "gentle" pace. Most motion things go too fast for me, same for time-lapse.

  6. I love your stop motion videos! My brother and I made several using blocks and other kids' toys when my children were toddlers, but I haven't played with it since. I love your flower, too!

    1. I bet it was a lot more labor intensive before a phone app made it so easy. Thanks for the nice words. That flower is one of my favorite fabric creations.

  7. I have a stop motion app on my phone that my grandkids installed but I haven't played with it. I wonder what I could come up with... it sounds fun!

I love the parade of bags, especially the humor at the end!

    1. Thanks! It's amazing how inanimate objects can take on a personality.
Give it a try, nothing to loose, except some time.

  8. Loving your posts for the A to Z. Trying to catch up on everyone's after having found a niche in a sewing income during this pandemic. Keeps me from the unemployment line but behind in reading all the great stuff out there. I'll definitely be back!!
