Z is for Zest
My entire A to Z challenge could be about food. Maybe a year in the future.
In the meantime, I see food & cooking as a big part of my creative life.
Not a bad way to end the challenge.
The aroma in the kitchen when zest hits the heat in a pan, heaven.
Current favorite recipes with lemon zest:
Shrimp with Pesto & Lemon Zest
Tuna casserole
I made it! A to Z 2017. Can I have my survivor badge now?
See you next year. Hope you visit before then as well.
It's been a pleasure cruising around to see what others are up to.
I'm with you on the word... both physically and emotionally. COngrats for getting to the end!

I have both of those tools. It takes quite a bit of work for me to get enough lemon or lime zest. The chefs on TV make it look so easy. Congrats, we made it. I did a food/recipe A-Z a couple of years ago. It was intense. But fun and fattening.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe! Will give it a try...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing the challenge in the most yummiest way!

Congratulations. I have thought each year that food would be a good topic.
ReplyDeleteBaking and cooking are most definitely a part of the creative life. Zest is a fun way to end the challenge.

The shrimp dish looks fab. Nice work getting from Abstract to Zest!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of making an entire A-Z challenge about food! I studied art education in college and one of my assignments was to make art accessible to kids. Of course, I used food to accomplish that goal, so I completely agree with you when you say that food is a big part of your creative life.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of fish, so I'll refrain from commenting on the dishes you shared. If I'm going to use the zester, it's probably to make apple cider with orange zest. :)
Congrats on completing April A-Z! What's your plan going forward?
With Love,
Mandy
