Zester A to Z Challenge

 Z is for Zest

My entire A to Z challenge could be about food. Maybe a year in the future.
In the meantime, I see food & cooking as a big part of my creative life.
Not a bad way to end the challenge.

The aroma in the kitchen when zest hits the heat in a pan, heaven.

Current favorite recipes with lemon zest:

Shrimp with Pesto & Lemon Zest

Tuna casserole

I made it! A to Z  2017. Can I have my survivor badge now?
See you next year. Hope you visit before then as well.
It's been a pleasure cruising around to see what others are up to.

  2. I have both of those tools. It takes quite a bit of work for me to get enough lemon or lime zest. The chefs on TV make it look so easy. Congrats, we made it. I did a food/recipe A-Z a couple of years ago. It was intense. But fun and fattening.

  3. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Will give it a try...
Congratulations on finishing the challenge in the most yummiest way!

    1. Well done on finishing the Challenge :) I've really enjoyed your posts and look forward to continuing to read more from your blog throughout 2017.

  5. Congratulations. I have thought each year that food would be a good topic.

  6. Baking and cooking are most definitely a part of the creative life. Zest is a fun way to end the challenge.

  7. The shrimp with pesto and lemon zest looks delicious! I followed the link and saved it to my recipe app.

Thanks for your delightful posts and congratulations for completing the challenge!

  8. The shrimp dish looks fab. Nice work getting from Abstract to Zest!

  9. I love the idea of making an entire A-Z challenge about food! I studied art education in college and one of my assignments was to make art accessible to kids. Of course, I used food to accomplish that goal, so I completely agree with you when you say that food is a big part of your creative life.

I'm not a fan of fish, so I'll refrain from commenting on the dishes you shared. If I'm going to use the zester, it's probably to make apple cider with orange zest. :)

Congrats on completing April A-Z! What's your plan going forward?

    With Love,
