Fabric Sculpture in Show

I am thrilled to have been accepted in the Jordan River Arts Council "Rare Threads" show.  My piece "Bursting at the Seams" started as a fabric vessel idea and morphed into a wonderful flower.

 

The leaves and center are seperate pieces with bb s for weight. The petals and stem have wire so they can be bent and curved in any direction. I think Imay have hit on something I want to continue with. Fabric large scale flowers with wire supports.  Maybe even creatures?
